Clubhouse Cream Ale · Griffin Claw

Brandon reviewed this beer on the show previously, and thinks it should definitely be added to the summer 2016 lineup. Just look at that label!

Mighty Melon Ale · North Peak

Mighty Melon Ale is from North Peak in Traverse City. Bobby describes it as “watermelon-flavored ridiculousness.”

Brandon mentions the new trend toward fruity beers, especially citrusy IPAs. Bobby says brewers have really figured out how to use citrus fruits in their beers, and it’s paying off really well. New hops are helping fuel this trend. Bobby expects to see a hop blend trend this summer.

Norm’s Gateway IPA · Griffin Claw

It’s a refreshing beer to enjoy after mowing the lawn and it’s apparently unbelieveable. If Bobby’s recommending it, it’s definitely worth a try!

Oval Beach Blonde Ale · Saugatuck Brewing

Bobby highly recommends this beer and its namesake. Spend a day sampling at Saugatuck Brewing Co., and then pick up a pack of cans of refreshing Oval Beach Blonde before heading to Oval Beach (the place).

Tony is looking forward to golf season, especially because courses are offering a wider variety of beer options. Bobby says that as more breweries start focusing on putting their beer in cans, the more golf courses can offer, and the more options you’ll have for the beach (or anywhere!) because it will be easier to take the cans places. And it’s better for the environment, which is a bonus.
